The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a well-rounded and proactive Product Technical Specialist to support our Product Support team based at Danendong.
Responsibilities
- Provide product and technical support to Dealers in relation to product performance, vehicle operation and product reliability
- Provide timely and accurate feedback / recommendations to Quality and Engineering Departments to assist in the efficient resolution of product performance and reliability issues.
- Evaluate Early Warning Reports, Field Early Warning and action as required
- Control data flow within OneCall / Assist to ensure technical concerns are addressed and reported to the relevant departments locally and internationally
- On-site visitation at Dealers, Key Accounts, Suppliers or Customers to evaluate product concerns, gather information and report back to Management on current status
- Technical platforms, tooling and system responsibilities by ensuring Dealers have adequate knowledge, competency and hardware to conduct effective repairs
Requirements
- Certificate 3 in Automotive / heavy stream is preferable however not essential
- Strong product knowledge relating to commercial vehicles, light, medium and heavy product lines
- Good working knowledge and understanding of automotive warranty policies and administration
