Rapid Recovery New South Wales was recently launched at ARBS 2018 and following a very successful start and a lot of industry interest, we are now looking to hire our second HVAC Field Technician in Sydney.
What does a Field Sales Technician do?
- You are an experienced Refrigerant recovery technician using the best recovery technology on the market
- Visit customers worksite and carries out refrigerant recovery using the bespoke FAST pumps manufactured by Rapid Recovery
- Visit prospective customers, promote our brand and service, convert prospects into active customers
- Produce quotations/ proposals for customers and deliver them in a timely manner. Refer bigger projects to Business Development Leader (BDL) or Sales Manager
- Record all customer interaction on the A-Gas Salesforce system
What is A-Gas looking for?
To be successful, you must be a fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic, Technician or Plumber and hold (be eligible to hold) a Restricted Arctick License
In addition to the above you will also need to a well-developed communication style with the ability to form excellent relationships with a range of people.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for a Refrigeration Technician to get more involved in a Corporate role. Whilst you will continue to use your ‘on the tools’ skills you will also learn about business development, sales, stakeholder management, marketing, quotes & report writing.
The successful candidate will spend two weeks in Arizona, USA where you will complete the training course as part of your introduction to A-Gas and your Induction.
Once you return, you will be fitted out with a custom built and specialised mobile recovery vehicle unlike anything else in Australia.
