Due to growth with in our business we have a vacancy for someone to take on the role of field service technician. We are a national company selling and servicing end of line packaging equipment. Our diverse range of equipment includes Pallet wrappers, strapping tools and consumables.
The position will be servicing the west and south-west suburbs of Sydney.
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- On site maintenance of hand strapping tools
- on site maintenance of stand-alone, inline pallet wrapping and strapping machines.
- installation and commissioning of inline pallet wrapping and strapping machines.
- Assisting the sales department in demonstrating our equipment to current and potential customers.
- Stocktaking of parts
- Assemble and test new tools/machines
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Drive licence
- Must be either electrical or fitter trade qualified
- Mechanical experience an advantage
- Computer literate to a basic level
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good work ethic
- knowledge o industry is an advantage but not essential.
