Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Grounds Person based in Jandakot for an Immediate start.
This position is based on a casual ongoing basis working 6.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday with rotation on afterhours shift also required.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Landscape maintenance and general gardening duties around the Jandakot area
- Grounds keeping and general maintenance work
- Planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
- Cutting lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Applying pesticide and fertilizer to enhance growth
- Planting of native flora
- Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- 5 years + experience similar work experience
- Experience operating a range of garden tooling and machinery
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Have an excellent work ethic and aptitude
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
- Hold a White Construction Card
- Ability to provide two work related references from within the past six months
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
