The extensive Fromm range includes semi-automatic and inline automatic strapping, stretch wrapping, carton taping systems and strapping tools to suit any size of business and throughput. This is complemented by a wide range of ancillary products and packaging consumables to ensure our customers can get all their packaging needs from a single supplier.
Our experience spans many industries including metal fabrication, construction materials, food and beverage, timber and logistics.
Due to expansion we are looking for a dynamic field service technician to become an important member of the service team based out of Mt Kuring Gai, NSW.
The successful candidate will be the 4th member of the NSW service team. Fromm Service Solutions manage breakdowns and regular scheduled servicing of automated stretch wrapping systems, in line strapping systems, semi-automated machines and hand tools.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Onsite and workshop maintenance of hand strapping tool.
- Onsite maintenance of stand-alone, inline pallet wrapping and strapping machines.
- Onsite and workshop assembly and testing of new tools/machines
- Installation and commissioning of inline pallet wrapping and strapping machines.
- Assisting the sales department in demonstrating our equipment to current and potential customers.
- Stocktaking of parts.
Our customers are metropolitan and also remote from the office which you will be required (after training) to attend breakdowns and service calls to support their needs. There is potential travel to regional NSW.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Driver licence
- Must be either electrical or fitter trade qualified
- Mechanical experience an advantage
- Computer literate to a basic level
- Good customer service relationships
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Work with minimal supervision
- Team player
- Knowledge of the industry is an advantage but not essential.
