About the company

Our client, one of the major players in their field, require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source an experienced Solution and Buffer Preparation Operator on a short term contract basis to start immediately.

Candidates on working holiday visas are encouraged to apply as this is a limited tenure.

This ultra modern facility is easily accessible by public transport and has free on-site parking. It is located not far from Melbourne CBD.

About the role:

Reporting through to the Senior Scientist this role is responsible for:

• Weighing / dispensing of chemical reagents (powders and liquids)
• Use of equipment such as overhead mixers, peristaltic pumps, pH meters, balances and weigh plates.
• Completion of Batch Process documentation
• Filtration of solutions/Buffers

To be successful in this position you will have:

• A Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry or equivalent field
• Previous experience within the Pharmaceutical industry in a GMP environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Exceptional report writing skills
