St Vincent’s Institute (SVI) is a progressive and internationally recognized research organisation located on the fringe of Melbourne’s CBD. SVI currently supports an exceptional body of prominent and highly talented research professionals working on a broad engineering and regeneration, and cancer of the blood, bone and breast.
The Cardiac Regeneration laboratory, under the direction of Dr Shiang (Max) Lim, studies the pharmacology and cell-based cardiac tissue engineering strategies for cardiac repair and regeneration.
An ambitious and creative scientist is sought to develop new ideas that promote current research while receiving advanced training from principal investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence.
The successful applicant will ideally possess a PhD and have prior experience in bio-engineering, stem cell biology, molecular biology and/or in vivo pharmacology.
Salary Range:
$83,000 - $89,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 9.5% superannuation and generous salary packaging up to $15,900 FBT exempt.
