The Senior Proposal Analyst supports the Business Development team at CPR. They assume a key role in proposal preparation, inclusive of planning and internal management and participate in proposal documentation for clients.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Bioanalytical Services your responsibilities include;
Sales & Business Development Activities
- Management of the opportunity lifecycle (new clients, existing clients, OOS).
- Conducting business development activities
- Coordination of RFPs
- Support Senior Director Bioanalytical Services in preparation of quotations
- Liaise with clients ensuring the company is meeting or exceeding client needs
- Organise and participate Business to Business meetings and teleconferences
- Comply with CPR’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Operations
- Handover of contract and associated documentation to operational management –supporting the kick-off process including communication of project lead
- Project Manage opportunities prior to handover to Operations
- Participate in weekly operational resourcing and Research & Development meetings with senior staff
- Liaise with CPR Finance Officer on the status of MSA/ proposals
- Review contracts as requested by Finance Department.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- An ordinary degree in the appropriate discipline or appropriate industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in regulated bio-analysis
- A minimum of 5 years bioanalytical method development experience in a regulated environment
- Experience in Immunoassay or Tandem Mass Spectrometry analysis
- Extensive networks within the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, analyse problems, formulate clear and effective solutions and coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgment
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management and other departments.
- Be able to provide, justify, and act upon initiatives to generate new business.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite.
