The Opportunity
As a qualified scientist you will be joining the Formulation Development department within the Bioprocess Development group of R&D located at Parkville. Working with a team of other dedicated formulation and development scientists, this position involves the development of safe, efficacious and stable new investigational biotherapies for use in preclinical and human clinical trials.
Using state of the art formulation development and analytical testing technologies, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting experimental studies for new protein based biotherapies. This will include the planning, generation and analyses of experimental data for activities spanning various stages of the development timeline, from preliminary excipient screening through to evaluations of product stability. You will also be responsible for the generation of technical presentations and reports.
Essential Experiences and Skills:
• Tertiary Qualification in relevant field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Protein or Formulation Sciences)
• Proven hands-on experience working on laboratory and protein formulation/testing
• Motivated individual with a strong commitment to quality and time management
• Proactive, well organized and have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in the development and testing of protein pharmaceutical formulations will be regarded highly
To be successful in this role, your hands-on laboratory and protein formulation/ testing expertise will ensure timely completion of experimental studies and documentation to support development of our new drug product formulations
