The Opportunity
The quality control function at CSL Behring is currently recruiting a QC Chemistry Validation Analyst to join our dynamic team at our Broadmeadows site. You will ensure that all QC Validation activities are efficiently and safely carried out. Along with QC Validation you will also participate in the development, transfer and implementation of optimal scientific methods and technologies into the Quality Control laboratories. Working across multiple areas such as Microbiology and Immunochemistry, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
In the QC Chemistry Validation Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring QC compliance to US FDA code and Code GLP
- Assist in the implementation/validation of new methods/technologies into the QC Chemistry testing laboratories
- Write and review validation protocols, reports, Quality Risk Assessments and GAP analyses as required.
- Ensure all assays are validated according to ICH and CSL guidelines
- Create relevant procedures for testing and standard operating procedures for the implementation of new methods and technologies
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvements
To be successful
- Tertiary qualification in a related Scientific discipline or substantial on the job experience. Specialist knowledge in Chemistry-related analyses would be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in QC Validation environment
- Strong hands-on experience in laboratory instrumentation such as AAS, NIR, HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Raman, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of the ICH/EMA/FDA guidelines
- Strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively within validation and operational teams
- Previous experience within Pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
