OCTIEF is a multidisciplinary consultancy, offering a diverse range of hazmat, environmental, and occupational hygiene services. We are focused on providing clients with quality, innovative and cost effective solutions.

The current vacancy is for a suitably qualified Environmental Scientist with a minimum of 4-5 years practical experience in contaminated land. This can be a physically demanding role with extended periods in the field.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Project Management "end to end"
• Client liaison
• Field Works
• Report writing
• Other duties as required

Essential skills include:

• Environmental Consulting experience with a focus on contaminated land.
• Willing to expand your knowledge, be cross trained in other disciplines, and take on unusual projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high level MS Office skills.
• Experience working with, BlueBeam, ESDAT, Surfer.
• The ability to work autonomously in the field and effectively within a team environment. 
• A valid Open Driver's License (full - preferred) and excellent driving history is mandatory.

The role will be based out of our Yatala office with regional travel throughout QLD and interstate required. This is a hands on role with the successful candidate managing all aspects of their own projects whilst assisting other team members as required to achieve client expectations.
