The Role
Various positions are available for quality assurance/quality control professionals in various permanent and casual Adelaide - based contracts. Roles will oversee the quality food manufacturing processes for national food & beverage manufacturers. Ensuring product quality and consistency is maintained through active and effective QC and QA processes. Responsibilities may include product sample testing and traceability checks; ensuing results are within spec or out of spec results are managed before reaching the customer; auditing process/operating procedures; document control. High emphasis on food safety and hygiene.
We are always looking for people with demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• Managing quality assurance program & Doc Control
• Preparing and conducting internal audits/corrective actions
• Maintain and update documents and procedures for compliance and audit
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant company, accreditation and regulatory standards
• Maintenance of calibration of equipment
• Swabbing and Micro testing (internal/External); chemical and physical checks
Skills
Essential:
• Prior experience in performing above duties
• Prior experience working in food manufacturing industry - critical
• Familiar with all regulatory standards (ISO, SQF and HACCP)
• Excellent verbal & written skills - critical
• Strong administration skills
• High level attention to detail
• Personable with good influencing skills
• Ability to use initiative, problem solving and decision making skills
• Positive can do attitude and flexible approach to tasks
• Full working rights in Australia
Desirable:
• Appropriate Qualification in food or science, QA/HACCP
