Evolve Scientific Recruitment have partnered with our client to source an experienced R&D Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of this role will be to lead new product development projects and to provide consumer relevant innovation and grow the company's brand.

Reporting to the Head of Innovations, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Establish, evaluate and improve product formulas as well as identify new product opportunities
• Develop, drive and communicate to relevant stake holders the prioritisation of activities in alignment with targets
• Develop, lead and support the team to meet targets.
• Working with suppliers to deliver new technologies and formulations
• Support building stronger customer relationship and consumer engagement via the development of product demos

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor of Science or equivalent with demonstrated experience in R&D in the Personal Care or Cosmetic industry and a thorough understanding of GMP
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency in IT
• Proven track record of planning, prioritisation and implementation of projects
• Formulation Experience and problem solving ability
• Experience in managing teams
• Capable of building strong working relationships
