About the Role

We are looking for talented data visualisation gurus –people who demonstrate great potential - who’s skills draw actionable insights from data that drive commercial outcomes for our valued client base. 1. Build and deliver ground-breaking data visualisation.  You push the boundaries of exceptional data visualisation. You continually innovate and raise the bar of the high performing team through rapidly experimenting, prototyping and iterating. Whatever the projects you work on, what you do is always of the highest quality and calibre.
2. Focus on using design and creativity to deliver commercial value.  As an exceptional analyst and structured thinker, you love creating and designing intuitive and beautiful data visualisations to enable users to discover strategic insights, and piece together the stories the data is telling you.  Your ultimate objective is to turn complex theoretical concepts into commercial reality through easy to understand data visualisation.
3. Drive projects to completion.  You have start-to-finish ownership of projects, and you thrive on seeing things all the way through. You are an excellent multi-tasker who is always "on it." You proactively find solutions to drive projects forward despite obstacles. You understand the importance of planning to meet deadlines.
4. Collaborate and role model startup mindset.  You are flexible and willing to do anything and everything in an all-hands-on-deck environment. Communicate effectively.  You have the ability to communicate findings in a clear and effective manner.  Your designs that take the hard work out of analysis and interpretation for non-technical, business audiences.  You create simple, beautiful, and intuitive data visualisations and convey insights in meaningful and compelling ways empowering users to make data driven decisions.

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial experience in data analytics using data visualisation tools (such as Tableau) to derive actionable insights from underlying data
• Exceptional skills in developing intuitive and beautiful data visualisation dashboards and interfaces that drive commercial value and real actionable insights
• Creative flair coupled with a passion for AI and analytics
• University degree in business, management, analytics, statistics, economics, or other discipline with a quantitative focus
• Experience using SQL
• Strong commercial acumen, and ability work closely with businesses to understand complex business problems
• Strategically-minded yet detail-oriented to produce accurate analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret/understand customer needs
