GHD has been appointed by Main Roads to deliver a statewide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract, GHD will provide centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State road network.
 

About the Role

• Planning and delivery of the routine and periodic vegetation maintenance programs;
• Reporting on environmental approval status’s and physical works progress;
• Manage environmental risk, work applications and approvals;
• Conduct site and project inductions with sub-contractors and manage work sites;
• Support the development of the regional 10 year Network Development Plan and future Annual Works Program's;
• Full-time, fixed term opportunity through to June 2020. Based in Albany WA.

 

Knowledge and Skills required for the role:

• Understanding of environmental requirements in relation to network maintenance and environmental management;
• Knowledge of environmental policy, management and reporting requirements;
• Ability to scope works and liaise with subcontractors.
