You'll be working with the R&D department for the Department of Defence (Defence Science Technology Group, DTSG) in Fishermans Bend.
The Role...
You will undertake high-quality research into the formulation, manufacture and application of novel coatings for Defence platforms and to test them against standard coating specifications. The focus will be on the formulation of flexible underwater coatings and foul release coatings in a range of hues.
The work will have a laboratory based focus with a small component of field work.
You Will Need...
- Australian Citizenship
- A degree, honours degree or PhD qualification in Chemistry, Materials Science or Formulation Science
- Demonstrated experience in the formulation, application and testing of flexible resin coating systems
