About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a flexible part-time Pathology Specimen Collector to join their Pathology team, based at Lismore and working in the Lismore and Northern Rivers area. Hours are between 07.00 and 18.00, Monday - Friday, with participation in the Saturday roster.
The primary task of this role is to take blood samples from patients.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be:
- Providing quality care for our patients in the community;
- Treating our patients with care and compassion;
- Receiving urine and faeces samples;
- Recording patient information;
- Completing online training via our eLearning training system; and
- Liaising with referrers and ancillary services in a community setting.
