About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology's Coffs Harbour Laboratory now has an exciting opportunity for a flexible full-time Pathology Services Assistant to join their team. Within this varied position, the successful applicant will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rotating roster that will cover the hours of 8.00am-7.00pm Monday to Friday, with inclusion in the Saturday roster.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Providing exceptional service with strong customer focus to medical practitioners, their patients and your team members, ensuring effective communication between various sections within the laboratory;
- Answering incoming phone calls from medical centres, hospitals and nursing homes;
- specimen reception, data entry and handling pathology samples; and
- processing specimens, and batching and preparing specimens for transport in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines

In return for your hard work, you'll receive a starting salary of $42,890.55 (including super), with eligibility for promotion as skills are gained. Previous experience with skills relevant to the position will be considered for a higher pay classification entry level.
