This leading Australian Food Manufacturing company is experiencing tremendous growth at present and are busy, busy, busy !
As part of their continued growth plans for the 2018-2019 financial year, they now require a number of new employees to work with them in their Food Technology department.
A range of positions are now on offer:
- Senior Food Technologist – suitable for candidates with 8+ years commercial experience;
- Food Technologist - suitable for candidates with 5+ years commercial experience.
As a Food Technologist (both mid to senior levels), some of the required functions of these role include (but not limited to):
- Creating and preparing bench-top formulations
- Conducting sensory evaluations
- Perform analytical and investigative tasks
- Establish HACCP and QA testing specifications for products
- Managing the internal trial process as it relates to new product introduction and conducting trials with customers
- Development product costing and commercial acumen with project budget management
- Create labelling and finished product documentation
- Assisting team members to develop clear and concise product and project briefs
- Reviewing, monitoring and reporting on performance against project plans to the wider business
Whilst a range of positions are on offer, it is an expectation that all applicants who wish to be considered for one of these opportunities will already come from a proven track record gained from working within the Foodservice, Beverage or FMCG industries previously and will possess:
- Hands-on career experience in an innovation or product development role within the food industry – your resume or covering letter should clearly be able to demonstrate this.
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent.
- Effective Project, Time Management & Multitasking skills.
- Professional oral and written communication skills and computer literacy.
- Strong understanding of FSANZ, HACCP, GMP & OH&S.
All applicants must also be in possession of current and fully unrestricted valid working rights to work in Australia at the time of their application. An appropriate salary package will be offered to attract and retain the best applicants for these roles. Based in the northern suburbs with no immediate access to public transport close and available, access to your own transport for the daily commute to the site, will be highly beneficial with free daily parking to be provided.
