The Company
Hallett Concrete has been servicing Adelaide's market with pre-mixed concrete since 1978. We have steadily grown in stature to become a leading concrete and quarry materials supplier within the South Australian market. We supply to the domestic, commercial and industrial markets, and we specialise in supply to the technically demanding pre-cast market, for which South Australia is highly regarded.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced laboratory manager to lead our rapidly expanding construction materials laboratory in Adelaide. The laboratory is NATA accredited to ISO 17025 and covers a wide range of physical and chemical testing on concrete, quarry materials and cementitious products.
The main duties include:
- Running day-to-day operations of the laboratory ensuring the highest level of customer service
- Maintaining NATA accreditation and the highest standards within the laboratory
- Maintaining a safe working environment in the laboratory
- Driving improvement processes within the laboratory
The Ideal Candidate shall:
- Be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who takes great pride in their work and thrives on improvement and challenge.
- Be customer focussed and capable of working in fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Have strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
- Be experienced in chemical and physical testing
- Have an in-depth knowledge of ISO 17025 and NATA requirements
- Be a detailed individual who understands the accuracy and importance of the testing
