With over 300 professional, technical and engineering employees based in 10 offices across Australia and New Zealand, we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant to join our Property Risk team based in Kew East, Victoria.
The Role:
This role is responsible for project management and account management while also conducting HAZMAT audits, property risk assessment and fire safety audits. Reporting to the Team Manager and supported by a team of high performing experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting HAZMAT audits
- Conducting essential fire safety audits and completing annual fire safety maintenance compliance statements
- Conducting Property Risk Audits (PRA)
- Witnessing and the facilitation of fire system interface tests
- Undertaking on site assessments in a range of locations including commercial buildings, construction and demolition sites, warehouses and industrial facilities
- Communicating with clients and site contacts and providing consultative advice
- Monitoring assigned projects to ensure they meet defined project objectives and regularly communicate with key stakeholders
- Acting as a subject matter expert and provide advice internally and externally
- Contributing to the regions pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure revenue targets are achieved
You:
- Proven asbestos management experience along with an understanding of WH&S, consulting and risk management
- Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen business partnerships as well as work cooperatively and collaboratively with others to achieve collective goals
- Strong project management and account management experience
- Excellent commercial acumen and effective time management skills
- Tertiary qualification in either Building and Construction, Work Health and Safety or similar, together with extensive experience within the industry will be highly regarded.
