About the role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Materials Engineer or Metallurgist to join the highly skilled Materials Science & Engineering team in Canning Vale. You will be responsible for delivering and leading mechanical testing and materials / metallurgical investigations. You will be working closely with existing team members to deliver the range of services to clients in the mining, process, manufacturing and oil and gas industries.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Materials Science / Engineering or Metallurgy
- Significant experience with failure analysis and investigations
- Experience with machining, welding and mechanical testing
- A commitment to following best practice Health and Safety requirements
- Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- The ability to build relationships and demonstrate credibility with clients
