Conveniently located in the bayside area, this well known company manufactures a wide range of speciality meat products.
In this role you will be assisting the QA Team with compliance to SQF, GMP, HACCP and Customer standards in addition to being responsible for identifying avenues for continuous improvement and managing projects to ensure these are effectively implemented.
Responsibilities of the role will include: internal auditing, staff training and project management as well as providing general assistance to the quality team as needed.
To succeed in this position you must present with:
- A minimum Degree qualification in Food Science
- A working knowledge of food quality standards, ideally with SQF version 8
- Internal auditing experience
- Experience working in high care environments
- Strong attention to detail & time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience working in a similar role is essential. Initially the role will be offered as a 3 month assignment with potential to extend.
