About the Role:

Currently we are looking for an Environmental Officer to be based at our Dinmore Plant.  Reporting to the Environment Supervisor, your brief is simple.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a sustainability program for the business
• Management/Monitoring and optimising of the waste water treatment plant
• Analysing and reporting waste water treatment results.
• Management of solid waste storage area.
• Irrigation management of the stormwater collection ponds and treated waste water
• Promote a culture of sustainable development and improvements
• Maintain records, prepare statistics, write reports and investigate complaints
• Auditing and compliance management will also be an essential part of the role.
• Provide technical advice and practical solutions for effective environmental management

Criteria:

• Be able to demonstrate an extensive track record in sustainability management and relevant legislation.
• Understanding of Environmental Management systems
• Have previously worked within a large multi-site business, with a focus on asset maintenance and programme delivery.
• Experience in a similar position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Drivers Licence and the ability to  work weekends as required
• Previous experience in waste water management
