BIOPROPERTIES Pty Ltd, www.bioproperties.com.au is an Australian owned Veterinary Vaccine Manufacturing Company with a GMP facility at Glenorie in Sydney's North West. BIOPROPERTIES supplies live veterinary vaccines to many countries throughout the world.
We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to work full time (40hrs/week) in our QC department, and will report to the QC Manager. On-site training will be provided. We offer a friendly work environment and job security. All staff are included in a Share of Success bonus program.
The role will include:
- Environmental monitoring of GMP production laboratories
- Particle counting of cleanrooms
- Aseptic collection of samples for validations
- Collection and testing of water samples
- Validation of sterile gowning
- QC testing of in-process and final product samples including microscopy
The following attributes are required:
- Minimum of TAFE certificate qualifications in biological science
- Experience in a GMP sterile/clean room production facility or aseptic laboratory skills a distinct advantage
- Ability to follow strict APVMA, TGA and GMP standards
- Positive attitude and enjoys challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills, with high motivation and work rate
- High attention to detail
- Some flexibility to work out of hours on occasion (routine hours 8am- 4:30pm)
- Own car essential
- No contact with birds or poultry
- Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
