We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Engineer to provide technical advice and support on maintenance, installation and servicing of our medical equipment (software & hardware).
About the role:
Due to strong business growth, an exciting opportunity has been created for a customer focused engineer to become part of a dynamic team and provide technical support across a boutique range of medical equipment.
• Work collaboratively to deliver outstanding customer service and develop strong customer relationships.
• Services include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance of equipment and software.
• Provide technical / troubleshooting support and guidance to accredited subcontract engineers in Australia and New Zealand and ensure subcontractors are compliant with their contractual requirements.
• Ensure technical service process compliance with quality management and accreditation requirements.
• Work with inventory management to ensure adequate spare parts inventory.
Experience and Position Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, ideally with experience in a customer facing technical service role within medical equipment industry.
• Experience with medical / laboratory equipment would be highly regarded.
• Ideally, a minimum of 2 years technical service experience
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Organized, on-time, and detailed project management skills.
• Excellent IT and computer skills
• Ability to travel (domestic and internationally)
• Be able to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours at such times as are necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role from time to time.
