About the company

A chemical manufacturer in the Western Suburbs requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Chemist on a contract basis with the view to go on permanent. This position has become available due to an increase in their workload.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic wet chemistry on final products (titrations, viscosity, moisture content)

• Prepare samples & perform QC testing using a variety of analytical instruments

• Order & maintain supplies for the Laboratory
• Ensure the laboratories operate in an efficient and well organised manner
• Following SOPS to maintain high standards and industry expectations
• Entering results on system


To be successful in this position you will have experience working in a a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry).
Prior experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.

You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
