Well regarded household name has a new opportunity for a assistant development manager to work in their highly successful development division. The development portfolio is diversified and has a number of high profile developments across Australia. This opportunity is based within a very high performing team reporting to the Senior Development Manager.
The primary responsibility of the assistant development manager is to manage the project delivery and take responsibility for financial and program delivery.
The successful incumbent’s responsibilities will include:
- Manage key stakeholder relationships
- Prepare and report against Development program and project feasibility
- Manage Planning and Authority approval process
- Facilitate and manage development of design brief
- Manage engagement of external consultants
- Monitor Construction program and budget
- Achieve Project Completion with optimised project return
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing and Design divisions to generate related documentation
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 1 - 3 years’ experience as an assistant development manager.
- Tertiary qualifications in property or related fields.
- Extensive and relevant industry experience specifically in medium to high density residential.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of estate master.
- A strong understanding of all aspects of the development cycle.
