We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the team at our Riverside Plaza Shopping Centre and take responsibility for the management and upkeep of building services within agreed quality standards while ensuring the safety, presentation and comfort of tenants, Vicinity staff, suppliers and visitors in a manner which promotes the brand of Vicinity in the marketplace. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right person.
Riverside Plaza is a two-level sub regional shopping centre located just 16kms east of the Canberra CBD, and 13kms south-west from Canberra Airport. The dominant retail centre in the suburb of Queanbeyan, Riverside Plaza is anchored by Target and Coles, with 39 specialty stores. With more than 3.4 million visitors annually, the bustling Riverside Plaza offers local shoppers a convenient and family friendly experience.
What will success look like?
- Establishing quality standards for the centre’s aimed at meeting or exceeding customer and retailer expectations
- Ensuring compliance with Occupation Health and Safety policies and the implementation of the safety management systems
- Tenancy delivery including the management of on-site fit outs and refurbishments
- Responsible for budgeting, reporting and capital expenditure requirements
What will you bring?
You will present with facilities management experience and capability and bring sound technical, operational and legislative management and understanding. Solid reporting capability, knowledge of budgeting and forecasting coupled with strong contractor management and demonstrated safety, health and environmental management capabilities will enable you to manage a range of competing priorities and projects in this role.
