An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to autonomously manage a hospital refurbishment.
Your new company
A leading hospital located within the Eastern suburbs has an immediate opening for a Project Manager, needed to oversee a 12 month project, with potential for extension. They pride themselves on their established reputation across Victoria, having provided healthcare services for over 50 years.
They are one of Melbourne’s largest healthcare providers, providing a range of services, and ensuring their patients are always put 1st, whilst become leaders in learning and development. They are looking for a Project Manager to oversee a refurbishment of one of their wings.
Your new role
• You will manage a refurbishment project from conception through to completion.
• You will be responsible for developing scopes.
• You will manage the tendering and procurement process.
• You will develop and conduct reports.
• You will lead a team of 4.
• You will ensure project is delivered both on time and on budget.
• You may be required to assist in other projects on site.
What you’ll need to succeed
• Extensive experience in project management, demonstrating a history of assisting in the planning and delivery of projects.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience of working in a hospital environment would be advantageous.
• A demonstrated history in managing projects from conception through to completion.
• The ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S.
