Our client operates a growing empire of retail centres across Australia and continues to expand the diversity and customer experiential elements of their portfolio. The centre experiences high and diverse traffic due to a carefully planned strategy and dedicated, professional staff. This prime asset will continue to deliver impressive revenue results for a driven and agile manager.

Description

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for making sure the centre continues to perform strongly and key relationships with retailers and stakeholders are managed to add value.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and implement a long term business strategy that meets the needs of modern shoppers and shopping mall trends

• Prepare and analyse quarterly budget reviews

• Accurately monitor and report on all tenancy costs and retail trading figures

• Maintain a vibrant casual mall leasing strategy that strengthens foot traffic

• Work closely with the asset and facilities managers to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to business

• Foster productive business partnerships with all retailers and external service providers (such as legal services and contractors)

• Leasing management and negotiations of all retailers

• Ensure the retail portfolio strategy aligns and delivers on the owner’s vision for success

• Contribute to marketing and advertising strategies and branding

• Exceptionally represent the company’s values and prestigious brand in all business interactions and transaction

• Implementation of the owner’s environmental sustainability ambitions within large scale retail assets

Profile

• 5+ Year experience in a similar role within the retail industry

• Tertiary degree in a property related field, preferable but not essential

• Innovative and dynamic retail centre leader and manager

• Strong strategies and ideas for business growth and profit

• Influencer with broad communication and client engagement skills

• Understanding of mall trends in diversification

• Polished professional to represent the prestigious brand
