Our client is a listed retail fund manager that owns, develops and manages award winning, multi-use, retail assets across Australia. Due to continued success and expansion in 2018 they are seeking an outstanding candidate to take the next step in their career.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Leasing, you will be responsible for all leasing across one of our client’s prime retail assets in Sydney.
Other duties include:
- Manage end to end lease negotiations and renewals to maximize potential growth
- Create clear, long term leasing strategies with effective implementation
- Manage a small team of leasing admin staff
- Induction of new retailers and retail formats to the portfolio
- Deliver rates of low vacancy and yearly rental growth
- Proven understanding of current shopping centre trends and retail markets
- Maintain strong Food and Beverage leasing presence and portfolio contribution
- Achieve annual portfolio revenue targets and relevant KPI’s
Profile
- 5+ Year experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Tertiary degree in a property related field, preferable but not essential
- Proven ability to effectively implement long term retail leasing strategies
- Effective verbal and written communication, engagement and interpersonal skills
