Our Client 

Our client is one Australia’s largest specialist lenders providing financing options to the residential, commercial, industrial, and retail property sectors in Australia. For over 20 years, they have managed funds and private Investors enabling the successful completion of projects across the eastern seaboard of Australia.
 
The Opportunity
 
Our client is looking for associate/ associate director to join there Sydney team. Working with the general manager your major focus will be to seek, secure and manage the lending opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating terms, conditions and pricing of facilities with Borrowers
• Prepare loan submissions for presentation to the Lending Committee
• Manage loans from approval to settlement, construction drawdowns and then repayment including dealing with & instructing all professionals
• Monitoring ongoing covenants to ensure loans are compliant with policies and procedures
• Build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Effective, timely and accurate written and verbal communication to the Senior Portfolio Manager, Managing Director and Board.

The Candidate

• 4 years’ experience in property finance/ lending either within a financial institution or private financier
• Tertiary qualifications are preferred but not essential when experience is strong
• Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with brokers and borrowers
• Strong business acumen 
• Flexible work hours for the right candidate.
