THE CLIENT
Privately owned investment company requires a Project Development Manager to oversee project management, development and re-development of its diversified property portfolio; with a focus on commercial and industrial. 


THE ASSIGNMENT
This position works closely with the Director, whilst independently managing the construction process from inception to completion. The position is responsible for the project managing development and re-development of the company's commercial & industrial property portfolio, and newly acquired sites. Diverse in nature, this position involves all duties from project design, liaison, tendering and negotiation, cost and compliance management, in addition to a minor element of property leasing. This role is ideal for a Project or Development Manager who works well independently, and loves hands-on project management of great projects. 


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education in Property or Engineering or other relevant degree
• Would suit someone with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role in development or construction
• Excellent standard of technical proficiency in all aspects of project management in relation to property development
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership approach
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Site management experience in $10million+ commercial building projects
