The Company
An established not-for-profit provider whose focus is to alleviate and prevent future poverty for people most at risk. This organisation provides support to individuals that are disadvantaged in the community through the provision of services including accommodation, research and advocacy.
The Role
You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of contracts related to facility management. The main focus of the role is to ensure the effective management and operation of all projects. You will be responsible for the supervision of contractor performance, OH&S compliance and Essential Safety Measures.
Duties will also include but are not limited to;
- Development and implementation of leases and licenses agreements.
- Review of service contracts to ensure requirements are met.
- Build and Maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
Experience required
- Previous experience in a facility management, contract management or related field.
- Sound technical knowledge of building services including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Competent and rational problem solver.
- Demonstrated experience managing contractor groups.
- Knowledge and ability to prepare building maintenance service contracts, OHS principals and statutory & regulatory legislation.
