The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established, Commercial Property business based in Cairns employ creative and entrepreneurial people with high integrity. We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant that can work independently with minimal supervision to support the Marketing/Administration Manager and Sales Team. This is a permanent full-time office based role from 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work 9am-12pm, rostered every 6 weeks.

This busy, diverse administration support role will see you working across a range of forms and templates, conducting confidential research about commercial properties for sale and editing, formatting and proof reading documents before sending documents for final approval to the Administration/Marketing Manager and Sales Team.

About You

This role requires excellent communication, both written and verbal, as well as Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills. You will display high initiative in the way you approach your work, have exceptional attention to detail and a creative flair for drafting and formatting documents.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • Strong computer skills across Word, PowerPoint and experience editing documents through Adobe Suite or similar software;
  • Experience across administration, reception and basic marketing;
  • An ability to multi task and work on competing priorities and within deadline;
  • Work independently & retain information in a busy environment;
  • Ability to conduct independent, accurate research on commercial properties & put together a property proposal (using pre-existing templates);
  • Impeccable personal presentation, along with exceptional communication both oral & written; and
  • Able to commit to occasional Saturday work from 9am-12pm, every 6 weeks.

Real estate background preferred, however strong administration and marketing assistant experience, with transferable administration skills may be take into consideration, if you haven’t worked in the real estate or property sector.

The Offer

Salary offered is $45k-$48k+ super, with the position ideally starting mid July. You will work in a professional team and very successful Property sales business. There is scope to grow within the role.
