What this opportunity involves:

  • Taking the lead role in lease buyout negotiations
  • Negotiating new leases, lease renewals, options and market rent reviews, ensuring the best possible outcome for the Client
  • Liaising with solicitors to have lease documents prepared and executed in terms of approvals
  • Managing a robust portfolio and providing coaching and training to other team members

A customer-oriented attitude: You are proactive and professional when it comes to customer service and stakeholder engagement, you’ll handle interactions with clients—including senior executives—effectively.

An upbeat ace: Building on your strong written and spoken communication skills, you’ll also be able to show good presentation skills. Passion for quality, enthusiasm, and confidence are also important, as these traits can help in dealing with stressful situations effectively and in achieving challenging goals. 

Taking the helm: It takes confidence and drive to negotiate effectively as well as be the main contact person for key stakeholders, clients and vendors, keeping them engaged and making sure they have the right information at every stage of the process.

Organised: You will have the capacity work autonomously and can deal with a variety of issues concurrently whilst under pressure and with limited supervision.

Education and experience: An exemplary background in Property Leasing is required as well as a good understanding of Commonwealth Policies including the FMA and LAA. Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business or Commercial field is preferred but not essential.

You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our Client’s requirement.
