The opportunity

As part of a dedicated Real Estate Capital team, you will be tasked with the supporting analytics for both property developers and investors on the raising of debt and equity to finance their projects. You will do this by looking at: capital structuring, capital placement and financial and credit analysis.

You will work as part of a team which has responsibility for the identification of corporate real estate debt financing opportunities as well as borrower targets, with deals for construction and investment loans in the range of $30- $300 million. This opportunity will see you tasked with structuring transactions to best suit the credit objectives of the lender and undertaking credit analysis to support this. Additionally, you will spend around 30% of your time on wider Real Estate Advisory tasks, encompassing relationship building, transaction management, corporate strategy and market analysis. 

The candidate

You will have an understanding of various real estate-specific equity structures (listed/unlisted and local and international capital) and will have very strong skills across financial analysis, credit analysis and Excel modeling. You'll have worked in a dedicated Property Finance or Real Estate Credit role, or will have honed a strong Advisory skill set from working as part of a dedicated Real Estate Advisory team.
