The Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the residential delivery of the Master Planned Community. You will be responsible for managing risk and working within the statutory framework to identify the highest and best use of the project, ensuring maximisation of returns to investors. The Development Manager will report to the Senior Development Manager and provide leadership to the ADM.

You main responsibilities will include:

• Prepare business plan including project scope, budget and overall development strategy
• Formulate master plan ensuring best design to meet the market, yield maximisation and appropriate development cost.
• Obtain necessary approvals and clearance of condition
• Oversee design guidelines and covenants
• Receive, consider and comment on regular reports on sales traffic and sales contracts
• Manage lot production and stock efficiently to budget
• Prepare project feasibilities in association with Business Analyst
• Prepare and monitor budgets in association with Project Accountants
• Report regularly to Senior Development Manager on progress, budgets, risks and opportunities
• Preparation of reports to the Board

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 years experience managing small and medium sized land development projects
• Financial Analysis skills and experience working with discounted cash flows
• Degree in Property, Commerce, Planning, Engineering, Project Management or related discipline or equivalent experience
• Established networks and experience liaising with the relevant local government entities in Queensland
• A demonstrated knowledge of the planning process and experience taking projects through planning and delivery
• A strong focus on internal and external customer service and collaboration.
• Understanding and responding to project target market through project delivery strategy
