This top tier ASX listed property business is currently looking for a an experienced building manager to to oversee a mixed portfolio.

The successful applicant will be a hands on individual with a strong operational background and be able to cover the following:

• Manage maintenance of a portfolio of assets in accordance with all legislative and OH&S requirements.
• Manage the properties efficiently and maintaining a consistently high standard of operation.
• Manage relationships involved- including tenants, contractors, consultants, and property visitors.
• Manage contractors
• Induction and completion of property high quality documentation
• Risk management strategies including inspections
• Eliminate or control potential risks.
• Ensure high quality property presentation
• Record daily property operations including maintenance, accidents, complaints or breakdowns as well as incident reports
• Other required help such as general lifting and manual handling.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Come from a commercial background in property operations
• Have experience with day-to-day running of assets
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Have great relationship building/customer service skills to deal with corporate tenants and supervise trades
• Operational ability and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline or a building qualification would be looked on favourably (i.e. mechanical, electrical, fire, safety, hydraulic services, building qualification.)
• A valid driver’s licence will also be necessary
