Client Details
My client is a listed developer with a national focus that is seeking to add an additional headcount to their development team. They are seeking either a Development Manager or Senior Development Manager.
Focusing on a large master plan community you will be involved in land, built form and retail developments, this client is well known in the industry for delivering a high quality project.
Description
You will be responsible for managing the day to day delivery of the project which includes but is not limited to: forecasting and managing design fee & budgets, managing all associated 3rd parties and setting the sales and marketing strategy. This role requires a high level of ability to assess, identify and manage all potential risk to the project, as well as developing recommendations for project risk mitigation.
Having the ability to seek out opportunities to implement strategies to ensure delivery of projects in conformity with development plan and business strategy. This role requires you to manage the consistency of the design and project process, and to check for end user functionality in compliance with best practice industry standards.
Developing and managing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholder's is a priority in this role
Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering all aspects of a residential project. They will have at least 6 years + of development management experience with a notable developer and will have a degree in either real estate, construction or similar.
You must have experience in project and design management and knowledge to manage the inputs and outputs for a commercial assessment.
Have the ability to problem solve, plan ahead and have strong organisational and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising and managing stakeholders at all levels.
