Your new company
Due to the incumbent relocating, a prominent NFP organisation in Melbourne's north has a temporary Facilities Coordinator job opportunity available. They provide services to disadvantaged members of the community and the team culture and management is extremely supportive.


Your new role
You will be directly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of hard and soft services including maintenance and repairs, fleet coordination, purchasing, security and after-hours access and inspections whilst providing regular updates to the Facilities Manager.

You will also be required to conduct regular safety, asset condition and maintenance inspections of the asset portfolio and ensure a smooth working relationship with all service providers, external contractors and external tenants.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have proven prior experience coordinating a range of hard and soft services, including but not limited to HVAC, lifts, security and minor project works. You will also possess the following:

  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience liaising between management, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Building services or maintenance coordination experience in either a commercial or residential portfolio
  • Demonstrated experience adhering to and building upon an asset lifecycle schedule
  • Experience in fleet management and office fit-outs desired
