The Retail line of business are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team based in our Rhodes Head Office (NSW) to manage the Retail Assets across VIC, NSW and QLD. Reporting to the General Manager, Assets, the Operations Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Property Management Team to manage all aspects of building services, statutory compliance and risk management.
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Implement best practice operating standards and management practices
- Collaborate with the Delivery teams for handover of assets
- Assist in individual asset planning
- Manage commercial contracts related to the assets
- Coordinate with other business teams to manage financial objectives
- Assist in formulating budgets
- Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
As the ideal applicant you will possess:
- A relevant business qualification or equivalent commercial experience
- Significant experience managing teams across a portfolio of Retail assets
- Strong commercial acumen combined with budget and contract knowledge
- Demonstrated understanding of the Retail market and potential future challenges
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel between NSW, VIC and QLD as required
