The Organisation
 
Our client, a global leading education organisation, has an exciting new opportunity available to support the real estate management function servicing a wide range of key stakeholders across the organisation. Due to increased growth and a renewed long-term strategy, our client is seeking a facilities manager / business partner to join the organisation at this exciting point in time.
 
 
The Role
 
The Facilities Manager will be a trusted business partner providing a range of services and advice to all facets of the organisation. Through planning, development, construction, refurbishment, maintenance and environmental management, the property management function ensures a safe and secure working environment.
Essentially you will be responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for effective service delivery of all Facility Management services through to relevant stakeholder divisions
  • Provide high level advice and support in developing direction of strategy, and establishment of annual plans
  • Key driver in delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement strategy by raising level of awareness and understanding
  • Champion Real Estate Management led projects and initiatives to ensure effective engagement and seamless implementation
  • Maintain robust understanding of all key process and projects to address any concerns that the business may have
  • Continually review performance against recognized standards and contribute to business improvement

The highly-desired background to be successful in this role includes the following key characteristics;
  • Proven experience with a track record in Operations Management, Project Management and executive level stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Solution focused with consultation expertise, strong networking capability, and personal and professional credibility
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated customer centric approach
