Maintenance Officer
Property maintenance management
Responsive, planned and urgent maintenance
This non-profit organisation provides and/or manages secure affordable housing for disadvantaged people and for people on very low to moderate incomes. Its territory is in the areas between Campbelltown, Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Young. With a blend of managing maintenance through contractors and undertaking small jobs as agreed by the local team, you’ll ensure that all responsive and planned maintenance on the property portfolio is carried out on time and on budget
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing contractors, including compliance, costings and quality
- Reviewing complex urgent maintenance
- Monitoring and managing urgent responsive maintenance requests
- Performing property inspections to organisational specifications
You’ll need these qualifications and experience:
- A relevant building or trade qualification
- Experience in managing maintenance works and capital upgrades to agreed scope, time and budget
- Experience in evaluating, engaging and managing contractors and suppliers
- Thorough understanding of responsive and planned maintenance as it applies across a residential property portfolio
- Current NSW driver’s license
- Current/Valid White Card
