The Opportunity: We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, proactive Centre Manager to lead our experienced team at Smithfield Shopping Centre. Dexus has a strong retail team that proactively manages sub-regional shopping centres on behalf of Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and an Australian mandate and manages investments in seven Westfield shopping centres. The Retail Team provides shopping centre management, transactions, development management and leasing to our Third Party Funds management business.
The Role: Success in this role will be managing a team, driving centre performance, managing capital works, ensuring the centre is maximising its return maintaining a high presentation standard along with strong operational efficiency and managing key stakeholder relationships. This role will lead all centre operations on a day to day basis to ensure customer needs are met whilst developing & managing all key stakeholder relationships. This opportunity will see you preparing annual budgets of income and expenditure as well as reviewing all operating expenses and preparing detailed quarterly reports including a review of performance to date versus budget and action plan. You will also of course project manage and see through any upgrades and capital works at the centre, ensuring the centre is still running efficiently and satisfying the customers.
The Potential: Success in this role will be for an individual with a true passion for the Shopping Centre Management and the Customer. Ideally we are looking for someone experienced in shopping centre's who is very comfortable managing the centre financials and jumping full throttle into a leadership role. The team are proficient and welcoming, looking for a leader with strong business acumen, a solutions focused mindset along with a strong collaborator. Experience with managing Centre capital works and the use of JDE is also strongly desired.
