Responsible for the coordination and management of multiple residential buildings encompassing security, safety, compliance and maintenance programs. Specific emphasis on:
- Supervision of maintenance staff & contractors
- Waste management
- Property presentation
- Emergency systems compliance
- Asset and infrastructure management
Principal Accountabilities:
- Staff and contractor management
- Plant and equipment management
- Forecasts for sinking funds and building management quoting
- Body Corporate reporting
- Maintenance of asset registers
- Conduct regular daily site inspections
- Conduct cleaning as necessary
- Manage cleaning, rubbish and equipment programs related to refuse
- Ensure you obtain and hold information related to the use of all plant & equipment
- Source quotes for the Body Corporate or Unit Owners in the letting pool as requested
- Supervise on-site contractors as required
- Undertake minor in-room or common area maintenance as directed
- Use all skills to ensure the property is always safe and well-controlled
- Alert Management to risk issues as they occur
- Cover the front desk as requested
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property asset management or in building maintenance
- Familiar with forecasts for sinking funds and complex building management quoting
- Tertiary qualifications or working towards the same
- Sound use of Microsoft Office software
- Self motivated and disciplined
- Ability to communicate successfully with a wide range of stakeholders
- Sound numeric and written skills
- Solid knowledge of Body Corporate legislation and components of Management Rights assets
- Excellent written skills – including high level report writing
- Driver’s license
- Ability to work across the 7-day week as required

- Strong knowledge of building and facilities management
- Understanding of complex plant and equipment related to high rise construction
- Proven experience in cleaning and maintenance schedules related to high rise buildings
- Body Corporate reporting
- Maintenance of asset registers
- Be, honest and reliable
- Have good verbal communication skills
- Be well-organised and capable of prioritizing your own work
- Be happy to work on your own and/or capable of supervising people
- Be flexible and enjoy a varied routine
