Our client is looking for a Property Officer to join their team and assist in the implementation of best practice asset management.

Description
As the Asset Officer, you will assist to implement best practice asset management strategies to ensure that all Council property is safe for the public and workers. The portfolio is managed to maximise the value to the Council, community and facility users.
This position is responsible for maintaining the asset register and the hazardous materials register and undertaking regular condition inspections to support both asset and property management.
You will also assist in the analysis and review of asset data to know the status of asset management including regular reporting and monitoring.
Profile
You will be a proactive property professional looking to contribute to a fast-paced, growing team. You will have a number of years experience in a similar role with the demonstrated experience. You will have knowledge and understanding of construction lifecycle, maintenance and servicing activities involved in building assets to enable the development of long term maintenance and capital programs.
