This specific career opportunity is for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in the role of a Leasing Specialist. You will have a flair for sales and connecting the right people with the right home. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are leased to quality tenants in a timely manner and that new tenants are inducted into our business in a way that maximises the success of the tenancy. You will also be looking for new business opportunities and assisting with other aspects of property management as required.
About You
You may already be working in the industry as a Receptionist, Leasing Consultant or Property Officer and are seeking to join an organisation who values their Property Managers and the Property Management business.
We are also seeking candidates outside the industry who have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated, coach-able and pro-active. Our business has the systems, processes, and technology necessary to train the right candidate from the ground up, which has been our approach with our current team.
Completion or commencement of your Certificate of Registration is a pre-requisite.
The role
This role is ideal for a self-motivated and passionate individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working closely with our Property Management and New Business teams, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist in providing market estimates
- Advise owners on leasing obligations in line with legislation
- Advertising and marketing properties
- Service incoming tenant inquiries, database calls and prospecting for additional tenant interest
- Conducting open homes & private inspections
- Checking references and tenancy applications
- Preparation & execution of new lease agreements.
- Assisting the Property Management and Business Development departments
The successful candidate must possess high levels of energy and enthusiasm, a great attitude and strong work ethic.
Skills Required
Experience and knowledge of Property Management and legislation is preferred but not essential for this role. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate past experience and successful results with the following core skill set:
