Our client is a privately owned developer with a respectable name of significance in the Melbourne property industry. Primarily a premium developer of bespoke designed homes, townhouses and apartments, our client is currently diversifying themselves in the market by seeking out acquisitions in other development areas and with the added capacity of partnering up with well backed developers, there is unlimited potential. 

As the Acquisitions & Development Manager you will be working on an array of projects, take full control of the projects autonomously but know you have the backing of a knowledgeable and experienced Director. 
  
This is an end to end Development Management role, including but not limited to, identifying sites through your proactive approach and network, running the feasibility function for potential acquisitions before providing a brief to the Directors, coordinating all external consultants and contractors through pre and post construction, and liaising with sales and marketing parties to ensure successful launch and completion.
  
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Ability to present and bring acquisition opportunities to the business
  • Property related Qualifications
  • 5 - 10 years’ industry experience in development or acquisitions role
  • Strong understanding of the full development process from acquisition to completion and settlement
  • Proven ability to think and act strategically
  • Strong proven understanding of local council/government processes and regulations
  • Strong communicator and people manager, who is able to bring out the best across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Estate Master and advanced excel models.
